By disrobing myself
I thought I am naked
Mirrors do not lie

With so many inhibitions
And so much hypocrisy
Mirrors do not lie

When the pier was lit
They did not burn me
But only physical inadequacies
Ceased to exist
Colored thought
Pregnant compromises
Dry smiles
This is what everyone remembers

Neither am alive
Nor I ever lived
